 becoming accustomed to the gravity isn't about becoming more powerful (saiyan babies are accustomed to 10g just fine), it's about the muscles in his body adjusting to moving the heavier weight goku was already strong enough to move in 10g when he got there, his body just didn't know how to do so efficiently.

that said, gravity is much more affected by physical 'lifting' strength than by ki output, and contrary to popular belief the two are not related in any appreciable way.

also, death does not cause zenkais. a zenkai is caused when the body receives a near death injury and then heals from it. dying isn't near death, it is death. also, dead bodies are not biological in nature, as seen by the fact that goku didn't need to eat (even though he still wanted to). zenkais probably don't work in death at all.
